ProSiebenSat.1 subsidiary SevenVentures is expanding its portfolio with investments in STYLIGHT.de and Outstore.de. Germany’s largest group of TV stations is thus reinforcing its digital business with another two attractive partners, this time from the fashion and outdoors segments. STYLIGHT and Outstore will be able to profit from the media corporation’s extensive TV and online reach, and present their brands to an audience of millions.
And the winner of the 2012 SevenVentures Pitch Day (7VPD) is busuu. In the course of the event, being held for the first time, the company’s founder, Bernhard Niesner, was able to convince the jury of the strength of their business concept and triumph over his six rivals. Its first place brings the London-based company a prize worth four million Euros, in the form of media volume, which it can use to advertise its product to an audience of millions on the stations owned by the ProSiebenSat.1 Group. Second place and with it a prize of two million Euros of media volume, went to Sascha R. Rowold of wynsh, third place and one million Euros of media volume went to Capsule.fm, represented by Espen Systad.
