SevenVentures: Successful Sale of Media-for-Equity Participations
Munich, June 28, 2017 – SevenVentures, ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE’s financial investor, has successfully sold a large part of its media-for-equity portfolio to the leading private equity firm Lexington Partners. As part of the transaction, up to 16 minority participations of SevenVentures and other Group companies will be transferred to the new “Crosslantic Capital” fund. Lexington Partners is acquiring the majority of this fund, while SevenVentures will remain involved as a strategic media partner with a minority stake of approximately 24.5 %. Sales proceeds amount to a mid-double-digit million Euro figure. In regards to the media and cash investments made, ProSiebenSat.1 Group doubled the value and generated an IRR of around 30 %.

Finalists selected for “SevenVentures Pitch Day” / finale on June 10 at the NOAH Conference in Berlin
The finalists have been selected for 2015’s first “SevenVentures Pitch Day” (7VPD), ProSiebenSat.1’s big pitch competition for businesses. On June 10, five teams will have the opportunity to present their business idea on the main stage of the NOAH Conference in Berlin and to win a total of five million euros’ worth of TV media advertising, which will then be broadcasted on the ProSiebenSat.1 channels.

Finalists announced for the “SevenVentures Pitch Day” to be held on November 13th at NOAH Conference
SevenVentures, the venture arm of ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG, received applications from more than 30 countries for the SevenVentures Pitch Day. On November 13th, 2014 the seven finalists will pitch their business idea to a jury of renowned experts at the NOAH Conference in London, in order to win advertising time worth €7 million. In addition, the winner of the online voting will receive the Pan-European Media Prize, which will be awarded for the first time. The broadcasters involved in the audience prize are TVN (Poland), Dogan TV (Turkey) and Antenna Group (Greece).
