For the first time, this year’s SevenVentures Pitch Day (7VPD) will be held as part of Hubert Burda Media’s DLDsummer Conference at the home location of both media companies. With this move SevenVentures, the investment arm of the ProSiebenSat.1 Group, is taking its founders’ contest to a new level. The common goal of this partnership is to promote Germany as an economic center of digital transformation.

As a prize, SevenVentures is offering a full-service media package composed of €3 million in the form of TV media, an online advertising volume of €200,000, and for the first time a digital-out-of-home campaign valued at €70,000. In addition, SevenVentures will facilitate the production of a custom-tailored TV spot to enable the winning company to reach customers in a targeted manner on the TV group’s channels.

Sascha van Holt, SevenVentures managing director, remarked: “Global orientation, international network, and all of that at our home location in Munich: the DLDsummer Conference is an absolutely ideal partner for our founders’ contest. I look forward to unconventional and one-of-a-kind ideas, insightful founders and personalities, and most of all an exciting competition.”

The contest is aimed at innovative companies whose products or services are already successfully established on the market, but feel ready to take the critical next step towards growth with a tailored marketing strategy. German companies seeking to promote their products on ProSiebenSat.1’s TV channels, and international companies that are not yet active on the German market and wish to change this, are both eligible to compete.

Founders from around the world can register to win the media package worth millions at www.sevenventures.de by May 25, 2016.

A total of six companies will qualify to compete live on the stage of DLDsummer on June 16 and 17 to win over an expert panel and the select audience at the venue with their business model.

SevenVentures Pitch Day has been held each year since 2012. Past winners include Withings, Cashboard, GetYourGuide, and Popsa.
